Dr. Roger Woodhead

Dr. Roger Woodhead is an accomplished industry veteran with over forty years of international construction and engineering experience, with the last thirty years spent in senior leadership roles. He has had a long and influential career managing large and complex projects, including in senior executive positions for global engineering and construction companies. Over his career, Dr. Woodhead has successfully delivered more than $20 billion in global projects, including P3 and design/build contracts.
Since 2004, he has served as an Adjunct Professor in Construction Engineering and Management at the University of British Columbia and previously chaired the advisory panel on construction management at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. His contributions to the field have been recognized with numerous awards, including the prestigious Alan Russell Award for his lasting impact on the Canadian Construction Engineering and Management community, the Schreyer Award for the top technical project in Canada, and the Best Paper Construction Award from the American Concrete Institute.
Dr. Woodhead earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Sheffield in the UK and completed both his M.Sc. and Ph.D. at the University of Calgary. He is a registered Professional Engineer in British Columbia and Ontario, and a registered Structural Engineer in Washington State.
