Mike Smallwood is the CEO and owner of West Coast Logistics (WCL) since 2016, where he has successfully completed a comprehensive restructuring of the business and is currently executing an aggressive growth plan. Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, WCL serves as a critical regional logistics hub, providing trans-loading, warehousing, and logistics solutions for clients in the steel, aluminum, energy, and forest products sectors.

Before taking the helm at WCL, Michael ran his own management consulting firm and held senior management positions across Canada, Europe, and Asia, including roles as VP of Operations at Jacobs Engineering Canada, VP of Finance at PwC, and EVP/CFO at EMI Music Southeast Asia. His areas of expertise include general management, business development, business recovery, and organizational change. Michael holds a degree in Economics and Geography from Middlesex University and an MBA from Cranfield School of Management.
